David's Opera Opulence

Recently, Dave was a super (extra) in Aida down (dahn) at the Benedum. He spent countless hours rehearsing, went on without a sheild once, and had a blast as always on stage. (The shield was taken from him as he was going on stage!)

While acting in the opera, one of his many adventures led him to Bruno Sanmartino, a retired WWE wrestler and fellow super. Here is a picture of the two of them.

Alana Turns the Big ONE!!!

I feel like I spent as much time planning this little precious one-year-old's party as I did our wedding. Well, maybe not THAT much, but I wanted it to be special for Alana. (Even though she won't remember it!) This way, she can look back and see how many people love her.

The big event was at Grampa Morse's church and lots attended. Around 55 adults and children were in and out to wish our baby a blissful birthday. The food went fast, but not as fast as the year did! I'll include some pics of the setup and, of course, the birthday girl!

Flashback to Summer '05

It's been awhile, but here are some shots of the best and most exciting day of my life so far (and hopefully Dave's too)! Once Alana was born, this day's glory faded just a bit...

This was not only the summer of weddings; it was the summer of Dave's and my wedding as well! What a good time! I had never had as much fun at a wedding as our own AND PROBABLY NEVER WILL AGAIN. There's just something about the love and the energy of everyone around you on that day that makes the whole exprience of taking vows euphoric. There are so many things I would have done differently with the planning looking back, but WHO CARES?!?

Here goes SOMETHING AMAZING...

Well, it's about time that Dave, Alana, and I start blogging. It's a great way to record everything now for Alana and all our future children to see. Hopefully, when Dave and I are old and gray, the memories will remain stored here for us to remember!

Lots of you don't live here in the 'Burgh either. Since I am terrible at keeping in touch via the phone AND the mail, this will be a way to keep those with the tolerance for my wordiness and cheesiness to know what's up with the Morse clan (at least our small part of it)!

Also, I have to mention that Alana is already one and I am procrastinating on her baby book. This is the least I can do for her. We definitely need a place to post all the adorable shots of our baby girl. Dave and I will each take our turn at spicing up the Blog and, in turn, spicing up your view into our lives

So, to sum things up, here goes SOMETHING AMAZING...
